* GLOBAL FEAST *
PUKKA PAKI took part in the Indian Pakistani evening of Global Feast which offers a journey through the best of world food!
For 20 successive evenings during the London Olympics, 80 guests will gather at the Old Town Hall in Stratford to travel through the cultures and cuisines of the entire world, tasting a different specialty each night.
The menu explores both London & the world – with a guest local chef each night joining culinary curator Kerstin Rodgers (The Underground Restaurant).
I was lucky enough to represent Pakistani cuisine and enjoyed working with a group of guest chefs to present the following dishes cooked for up to 80 people on 3rd August 2012:
Rose Petal garam masala lamb chops
Green chutney masala chicken biryani (paneer option for vegetarians)
Beetroot and cumin raita
Rolled chapattis (with help of the team!)
For more about the evening read Kerstin Rodgers aka msmarmitelovers blog post about our Pakistani – Indian evening.
