I think my heart skipped a beet when I read “beetroot and jaggery raita”, but my goodness everything looks and sounds amazing. I must make it to one of your supperclubs sometime. That is if I can get in – sounds like you’re in high demand!
thank u! p.s. yeah even Madhur Jaffery loved my Beetroot and Jaggery raita so the stakes are no high on that one! will be blogging soon! hope to see u at my Sc’s soon x
Samayya, had such a wonderful time at your supper club last night. Still deciding which course was my favourite, the Pickled Fish with Beetroot and Cumin Raita or the Earl Grey Chai Gulab Jaman…or even the Gola Ganda. All divine! The presentation was superb. Will be recommending all my friends experience your evening, before the word spreads and they won’t get a seat (or cushion). Chimere @PRGirlLondon
Wow thank you so much! means a lot, please do let your friends know and hope to see them (or you again) soon!
Your food all looks delicious Sumayya, and you obviously set the scene and created a beautiful ambience too. The perfect supper club experience?! xx
thanks my dear!
Sumayya, Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening on Saturday. The food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, the setting was BEAUTIFUL, the ambiance was FUN! A great night all in all. Would recommend all to experience PukkaPaki.:)
thank you Kate! So glad u enjoyed it!
Excellent night on Saturday Sumayya, well worth the trip up from Portsmouth. The first supperclub I’ve been to and hopefully not the last. The flavours were fantastic and not as spicy as first imagined and a great insight into Pakistani food. Maybe do some Namak Paras next time, but not Kat a Kat.
10/10 for effort.
thanks Graham! glad u enjoyed it!
Sumayya, the event looked fantastic. Wish I could have been in London to join. Keep,up the excellent work and looking forward to more
thanks Andrea, that’s why you and Kate must come back to London soon!

Sofia, thank you for your lovely comments! I think I might just take u up on that and do one at the School too, lets discuss when I come to teach x
Oh my goodness, I could eat Sumayya’s food every day. My eyes (and tastebuds) were opened to this beautiful, exotic cuisine on the July supper club and I’m now left wanting more!
thank you Becky, I am so happy you enjoyed the food – Can’t wait to feed you again!
Sumayya – I’m still having tasty flashbacks to your July supper club! It was an amazingly tasty experience of authentic Pakistani food… I hope I get the chance to attend another of your supper clubs soon! x
oh thanks Jools, was such a pleasure feeding u and Ian! Such great palates u two have! come again!
Sumayya, accidently stubled upon your blog today and I think what you are doing is just awesome. I live in the US, am a physician and just dream about quitting medicine and going to culinary school and starting a blog. So what you are doing is kind of insipirational! Love your posts as well. So patriotic. Made me totally miss Karachi all the more. Best of luck!
Thanks Nadia, just do it! life’s too short! was a lawyer for far too long and so glad I walked away to following my dreams when I did, all the best to you and if you need any help/advice, just shout! x
We had a fantastic evening on the 27th October – thanks so much for delicious food and great company. I loved the Kulfi desert and the Keralan fish curry!
Thanks too for accomodating my dietary requirements
thanks Emily, so glad you enjoyed yourself, hope to see you again soon x
